The “Spanish Journey” of South Korean pianist Dongkyu Leo Kim arrives to KNS Classical

Multi-prize winner Dongkyu Leo Kim arrives at KNS Classical with a CD devoted to the so-called “Catalan Piano School”, mainly represented by Isaac Albéniz and Enric Granados, very well-known composers around the world. 
The album includes Granados’ Romantic “Poetic Waltzes”, the Dance “Oriental” as well as two pieces from the famous piano suite “Goyescas”, and the second book of Albéniz difficult Suite Iberia.
As a dedication to Emília Miret, the first woman pianist playing on Radio Barcelona and a brave woman, Dongkyu Leo Kim’s album ends with a WORLD-PREMIERE RECORDING of her soft, simple and beautiful meditation on walking across a field, “En el campo”.
