The album “Inspiration”, played by highly virtuoso Irmina Baczkowska, is now available on KNS Classical
The recording is a collection of pieces which have inspired the multi-prize winner Irmina Baczkowska along her career.
One can listen to Irmina’s playing, which is simply breathtaking. She is a true virtuoso, with a rare combination of technical brilliance, passion, and sensitivity that makes her one of the most exciting musicians of her generation. Her playing is highly virtuosic and filled with energy, passion, and sensitiveness, making her performances truly captivating.
With the title “Inspiration”, the recording starts with the three first pieces of Sinding’s Suite in A minor, also known as “Suite in the old style”, considered one of Sinding’s most popular works. It includes as well the highly virtuosic and emotionally charged Sonata n. 3 in D Minor, by Eugène Ysaÿe.
Bach is also present in the album, with two movements of the Violin Sonata in G Minor BWV1001, as well as Wienawski and his “Thème varié” op. 15, showcasing the full range of Irmina’s abilities.
The CD ends with the well-known 13th Paganini Caprice, Posato, a favorite among violinists and audiences alike, and admired for its technical complexity and emotional depth.
