KNS Classical proudly welcomes Honkonger fortepianist and pianist Rhythmie Wong and her debut album “Evolving Fantasia”

Multi-prize winner Hongkonger pianist and fortepianist, Rhythmie Wong, enters the label KNS Classical with “Evolving Fantasia”, consisting of Fantasias of W.F Bach, C.P. E. Bach, Mozart and Schubert. The beautiful repertoire of the album is played in two different pianoforti and one modern piano.

Bach mentioned that in a Fantasy, one should enjoy the unmeasured freedom to wander around different emotions and characters. The constant alterations of keys, tempi and meters should be used to effectively capture the changes of expressions. Gradually, Fantasy has started to be recognised as an independent genre. In this CD, you will listen to Fantasies that not only reveal the essence of the genre introduced and defined above, but also show new elements that correspond to a certain historical trend, and they even push the genre a step forward.
