KNS Classical proudly welcomes Chinese pianist JingCi Liu and her solo CD “Portrait of Beauty”, a tribute to female composers

Chinese pianist JingCi Liu, now well-established in the USA, records her first solo CD for KNS Classical, featuring seven female composers through the last two centuries.

“Portrait of Beauty” includes many important and rarely heard works from the periods of Classical, Romantic, Twentieth, and Twenty-First Century. Besides winning many awards in competitions, JingCi Liu has performed widely as a soloist and in chamber music in many international festivals and cycles in different countries. She currently lives in New York with her husband, where she joined as a visiting piano teacher and piano pedagogy fellow member at Global Outstanding Chinese Artist Association. At the same time, she serves as an Artist-in-Residence and regional Co-Executive Director. Her first album is devoted to works by Clara Schumann, Nadia and Lili Boulanger or Cécile Chaminade among others.
