KNS Classical is excited to announce the release of Duo Cavatine’s album “Nuages”

United by a deep passion for music, the Duo Cavatine is above all a long story of friendship. Their duo name is inspired by the Poulenc sonata, the very first one they played together during their university studies. Praised for their dynamic and refined personalities, the duo reveals a great complicity and a poignant sensitivity, the secret of their compelling stage presence.

The concept of their CD “Nuages” is built around the work Constable’s Clouds by composer David Jaeger. The album also includes two of their favorite works, Poulenc’s colorful sonata and Schnittke’s somber sonata, evoking the idea of light and shadow in music.
