Brahms Lieder in KNS Classical: Another World Premiere by Carles & Sofia piano duo
Carles & Sofia piano duo have recorded another unique and exclusive CD for KNS Classical: Brahms’Lieder. KNS Classical warmly welcomes this world premiere.
Carles & Sofia have commissioned to German composer Christoph Ewers the transcription for piano four hands of a collection of Brahms’Lieder, including the Two Songs for Mezzosoprano and the Four Serious Songs.
The music of lieder has always been very attached to the duo, who have always expressed their admiration to this genre. It is at the same time the music with which they fell in love one to each other.
The CD is the first of the ambitious “Lieder Project” of the renowned piano duet.
