Se-Hyeong Yoo

Se-Hyeong Yoo is a musician who predominantly plays piano. Throughout the years, he has firmly established himself as a creative interpreter of a wide range of music.
Yoo has performed in variety of venues across Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Portugal, South Korea and China. He has accomplished successful concerts with Harbin Symphony Orchestra, Orquestra Filarmonica Portuguesa, Busan Philharmonic Orchestra, Korean National Police Orchestra and Bucheon Sinfonietta under several different Maestros including Piotr Borkowski, Osvaldo Ferreira and Yongyan Hu. Furthermore, he has played with chamber ensembles at monumental places like The Blue House of Korea (The Presidential House) and Jinhae Naval Base.
Yoo has achieved his academics from several prestigious institutions; Seoul National University (South Korea), Hochschule für Musik Hannover (Germany), Royal College of Music (United Kingdom). He was taught and discipled under great professors; Dmitri Alexeev, Peter Jablonski, Matti Raekallio, Olivier Gardon and Heesung Joo. He is currently studying at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim (Germany) under Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy.
During his academic years, he received numerous awards at several international competitions known as Harbin Music International Competition (China), Valsesia Musica International Competition (Italy), Santa Cecilia International Competition (Portugal), Euregio Piano Award (Germany) and International Piano Competition Maria Herrero (Spain). Additionally, he has received renowned awards from the competitions held in, South Korea, such as Joongang Music Competition, Busan Music Competition, and Seoul Music Competition.
