Kyoko Sakata

Kyoko Sakata was born in Kyoto, Japan.

She is a disciple of Prof. Yasuko Tasumi, Prof. Meinhard Prinz, and Prof. Akira Imai, and chamber music with Prof. Lutz Leskowitz. She graduated from the University of Tokyo.

Sakata completed piano and accompaniment classes at the International Music Courses in Hamburg. She has won several prizes such as Special Jury Prize at the 3rd Nihon Sogaku Competition, Gold Hands Prize, and Best Mozart Prize at the Carles and Sofia Piano Competition 2021.
