K&K Piano Duo

Graduates of the Faculty of Music at Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts in Kyoto, the members of the piano duo K&K initiated their studies in the piano duo department at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart in 2021.

In 2023, they secured first prize at the inaugural Johann Wilhelm Wilms Piano Competition and the 32nd International Piano Competition in Rome, excelling in both the 4 Hands and 2 Pianos categories. Additionally, they performed a duo recital in Witzhelden to commemorate the baptism of Johann Wilhelm Wilms. In April 2024, they achieved fourth prize at the 2nd Duetissimo International Piano Duo Competition in Krakow, Poland.

March 2024 marked the completion of their Master’s degree with distinction, after which they joined the Konzerthausamen. Their concert engagements extend beyond Germany to international venues, including benefit and Christmas concerts with the Lions Club in Stuttgart. Their piano tutelage in Japan included lessons with Yasuko Tazumi, Keiri Nakano, and Yu Kawae, and currently, they are mentored in Germany by Professors Hans-Peter Stenzl and Volker Stenzl.
