El Heraldo de Aragón, por Luis Alfonso Bes, 25 de Marzo de 2019

“A forceful drive adequate to the great symphonic hall. There he was, on the stage, pianist Jorge Tabarés who articulated phrases that were regulated with extreme clarity, escalating every crescendo without leaving behind a single step in the gradation of intensity. There was a lot of spine-chilling interpretation in the ‘cadenza’ of the first movement of E. Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor. Tabarés rejoiced himself with an enormous security endowed with the maximum virtuosic character. The ‘murviedrés’ pianist, of 22 years of age, notably tensed the melodic line in the adagio, showcasing a very remarkable expressive capacity, and he closed his recital with the same interpretative traits, under the baton of the powerful Beatriz Fernández, dominant with the orquestra and liberal with the soloist.”

Lauterbacher Anzeiger, by Von Martin Gregor Günkel, August 4, 2016

“Particularly appealing in this concert is, that the music being played, has been selected by the respective participants, instead of having to perform a mandatory piece. An energetic interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven’s 32 Variations on an original theme was presented by Jorge Tabarés (born in 1996, Spain). He chose to not perform in an overwhelming style, but instead to let his sound really flash only at certain moments.”

“The concert ended with works composed by himself, 4 of his Preludes for Piano with which he demonstrated that he is not only an excellent pianist (as the audience that attended the concert would thoroughly recognize with their long applause) but also a valuable composer. And we repeat, only at age 23!!”

“The present, and the future, of this young pianist is very promising, and it is very clear that he will receive the recognition for which he has all the merits.”
