Eunhee Baek has established her reputation as a fine young concert pianist with her sophisticated and refined playing, along with her extensive repertoire. As a sought-after soloist, Eunhee Baek devotes herself to the entire piano repertoire by Franz Liszt. In 2021, she performed recitals to commemorate the 210 anniversary of Liszt with her personalized program by Franz Liszt in Berlin and in 2024, she recorded her first CD featuring the cycle.

Enthusiastic to explore new artistic inspirations and visions, Eunhee Baek regularly pursues concert programs that incorporate photograph, poetry and performing arts. In summer 2019, she embarked on a collaborative concert tour titled in Germany and the Netherlands, and in 2020, she engaged in the digital collaboration.

Besides her solo career, she is also a distinguished chamber musician, specialiezing in duo-repertoire with piano, violin and trombone. Additionally, she is a member of “Berliner Ensemble Essenz”, a chamber music group specializing in contemporary repertoire. Since 2019, she has held a teaching assignment in the department of the piano accompaniment at the University of the Arts Berlin.

Eunhee Baek has achieved recognition as a prize winner in various international competitions, including the International Dr.Dichler competition in Vienna (2005), the International Pietro-Argento competition in Gioia del Colle (2011), the International Artur-Schnabel competition in Berlin (2011), the 22nd Young Virtuoso International competition in Zagreb (2016), the Lyon International Competition (2018), the International Liszt Danubia Competition, the Swiss International Online Competition (2021), and the International Franz Liszt Center Competition (2022). After obtaining her diploma in 2014 and Konzertexamen in 2017 at the Berlin University of the Arts with Mi-Joo Lee, she attended the Mozarteum Salzburg, where she studied with Jacques Rouvier. She then continued her studies at the International Piano Academy Imola with Boris Petrushansky. During her studies, she was a scholarship recipient from the Gisela & Erich Andreas Foundation, the Foundation Clavarte, and the Deutscher Musikrat. Born in Seoul, she began her piano studies at the age of three.

Her first recital took place at the age of 13 at the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul, followed by numerous recitals and concerts with various orchestras. Prior to studying in Berlin at the University of the Arts (UdK), she was a young student at the Korean National University of Arts, where she also pursued composition alongside her piano studies.
