Allegro Brillante: The Release by K&K Piano Duo at KNS Classical

K&K Piano Duo presents “Allegro Brillante,” their latest CD release under KNS Classical.

Graduates of Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts in Kyoto and recent Master’s degree recipients from the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, the K&K Piano Duo has won numerous accolades, including first prize at the Johann Wilhelm Wilms Piano Competition and the 32nd International Piano Competition in Rome. They have performed internationally, with notable concerts in Germany and beyond.

“Allegro Brillante” features a selection of captivating pieces, including Mozart’s lively Sonata for piano four-hands in D Major, KV 381, Wilms’ expressive Sonata for piano four-hands in C Major, Op. 31, and Grieg’s arrangement of Mozart’s Sonata in C Major, KV 545 for two pianos. The album concludes with Ravel’s “Introduction et Allegro” for two pianos, showcasing the diverse sounds of the original ensemble.
